How are Tasks, subtasks and milestones organized in a Project Plus template?
Templates combine stage milestones with a reusable Task hierarchy.
A Project Plus template is built around the stages that already exist in the selected HubSpot Project pipeline.
For each stage, you can define a milestone that describes what must be true for that stage to be considered complete. Parent Tasks are then mapped to the stage where the work belongs.
Each parent Task can include:
- A Task title
- Project stage
- Budget hours
- Relative start and due days
- Task notes or delivery instructions
- Subtasks with their own titles, notes and budget hours
When the template is selected for a new Project, Project Plus creates the Task hierarchy and associates it with that Project.
