How are Project dates calculated from a Project Plus template?
Template dates are relative to the Project start date.
Project Plus templates use relative day offsets instead of hard-coded calendar dates.
For example, a Task with Start day 0 and Due day 7 begins at the Project start and is due seven days later. A later Task could use Start day 8 and Due day 17.
This lets the same template be reused for Projects that begin on different dates.
If a subtask has its own relative dates, Project Plus uses those values. Otherwise, it can follow the parent Task's scheduling window.
After creation, the resulting Tasks are normal HubSpot Tasks and their dates can be adjusted if the individual Project requires a different schedule.
